The Speedy Collision Corporate Team

Terry W. Allen, President and Chief Executive Officer

Responsibilities: Spearheads the business development and growth of the Speedy Collision enterprise through establishing direct repair relationships with insurers and fleet clientele, together with identifying new Speedy locations and qualified owner/operators. Additionally, he represents Speedy in many collision industry associations and forums.

Paul J. Hookham, Chief Financial Officer

Responsibilities: Overseas all financial, legal, and administrative operations. Mr. Hookham federally incorporated the company, established the company’s accounting policy and internal controls, and has been responsible for cash management, vendor procurement, and negotiating all supplier agreements, facility leases, direct repair program agreements, and general legal matters. He has also been instrumental in setting up owner/operator accounting systems, internal controls, performance management systems and administrative operating procedures. Additionally, he represents Speedy at exclusive industry focus groups and performs consolidated financial analyses for each of the Speedy facilities.

Kevin Butcher, Operations Manager – Western Canada

Responsibilities/Bio: Manages the overall operational activities for the Alberta collision repair facilities including conducting periodic audits and key performance metrics. Kevin has over 25 years of experience in the automotive industry, experienced in
repair order workflow and effective shop management. He has held positions as Service Manager, Body Shop Assistant Manager, Body Shop General Manager and Fleet Development Manager, Service Advisor and Shop Foreman. He was also an appraiser for 3 years prior to coming to Speedy Collision.

Glory Garisto, Operations Manager – Eastern Canada

Responsibilities/Bio: Manages the overall activities for Ontario collision repair facilities and promotes the Speedy Collision brand by identifying opportunities in Ontario and the Maritimes. Glory has over 23 years of experience in the automotive industry. Glory has held a range of responsibilities within the Paint, Body and Equipment disciplines. Her career path includes Operation Manager for a large North American PBE distribution chain as well as Manager, Branch Operations and Region Manager for a leading global automotive paint manufacturer.

Jess Duerksen, Manager, Marketing & Social Media

Jess received her BComm in HR, Marketing, Gen Bus. at the University of Saskatchewan in 1996. She has over 20 years experience in operations, marketing and business development with a specialized interest in social media marketing, online presence and brand awareness. She joined the Speedy Collision team in 2015 and has held positions in management and operations support prior to taking on her current position.

Pauline Knox, Head Office Operations Support

Pauline Knox has worked in the automotive industry since 2002 and became a part of the Speedy Collision team in January 2016. She works in our corporate office as Head Office Operations Support and is the smiling voice on the line when calling office. She is the main point of contact for our corporate repair accounts, vendor accounts, and a liaison for our franchisees in the network.

Murray Romain, Manager, Insurance Relations and Performance Management

Murray started in the automotive industry with 2 years automotive vocational training. He received red seal accreditation as an Autobody Technician from NAIT in 1977. He managed several dealership autobody departments before opening Colour Craft Body Shop Supplies in Calgary in 1986. He sold the business in 1990 and accepted a position as a field appraiser with Intact Insurance and retired in 2016 after 26 years of service having held various positions including Field Appraiser, Dispatcher, Auto Adjuster and the last four years as a Quality Review Examiner.
